I have been getting into Fortnite more and more and with Season 3 on the way it’s time to push to the top. I have never bought in-game currency before for any game…. ever, but I have enjoyed Season 2 so much, I think I need to spend that $10 for Season 3. Why? Basically, to thank the Fortnite team for an awesome FREE game which I want to stay that way. I will never spend $20 for a cosmetic outfit, but $10 to earn A BUNCH OF STUFF over the course of a season, I’m in.
If you were to ask me what theme I wanted, like it was completely up to me, I would say I wanted a “Space” theme, a “Pirate” theme, or some sort of “Futuristic” styled theme off the top of my head. Guess what? This time it’s “Space” for Season 3, so I’m ready!
I won’t be doing this every single season, because I don’t need endless cosmetics, but if a theme that speaks my name comes in the near future, I just might.

New to the Battle Pass? It’s a way to get exclusive loot by playing Fortnite. Then earn or buy tiers to unlock even more rewards!
When you buy the Season 3 Battle Pass, you’ll instantly unlock a batch of great in-game rewards including the new Mission Specialist Outfit! As you play during the season, you unlock a series of reward tiers. The more you play, the more you unlock.
So, what’s different about the Season 3 Battle Pass? There are now 30 more tiers in Season 3 (100 total), and with more tiers comes more loot.
Even though we added 30 tiers, you’ll still be able to complete the Season 3 Battle Pass in the same amount of time as the Season 2 Battle Pass (typically 75-150 hours). Don’t have the time? You can always purchase tiers for 150 V-Bucks each.

WEEKLY CHALLENGES

Tier up even faster by completing the new Weekly Challenges. Each week a new set of seven challenges unlock, replacing the Season 2 Battle Pass daily challenges. Weekly Challenges stack and can be completed any time before the season ends, so if you buy a pass mid-season you’ll still have access to all of the previous Weekly Challenges. You can complete four out of the seven Weekly Challenges to unlock your rewards, so choose the challenges that best fit your style!

If I purchase the Battle Pass Season 2 do I get the Battle Pass Season 3?
- No, but you keep all of the rewards you’ve earned from the Season 2 Battle Pass!
How do I buy the Battle Pass?
- Launch Fortnite
- Select Battle Royale
- Navigate to the Battle Pass Tab
- Purchase either the Battle Pass or the Battle Bundle
What if I buy the Battle Pass late in the season?
- You will receive all of the rewards up to your current level, retroactively!
I want to get everything right away. Since there are more levels in Season 3, isn’t it going to cost more to buy my way to the end?
- Yes, it does. For the first 70 tiers you’ll receive 70 items, just like last season. The added 30 tiers in Season 3 offer more loot than before. We have designed the boosts and challenges so you can complete the 100 tiers of the Season 3 in the same time that it took you to complete the 70 tiers of Season 2.
