My 4K UHD Collection is continuing to grow and with more movies on the horizon adapting to the format — it continues to be an amazing time for film. The month of March (2019) brings another solid amount of new selections to the format — and here are the ones I’m looking forward to the most. It’s another big month full of releases (just like last month), so get your wallets ready!
Please note that these are my favorites, there are still other 4K releases coming out in the month of March like Hellboy, Mortal Engines & Pet Sematary.
Creed 2 (March 5, 2019)
In 1985, Russian boxer Ivan Drago killed former U.S. champion Apollo Creed in a tragic match that stunned the world. Against the wishes of trainer Rocky Balboa, Apollo’s son Adonis Johnson accepts a challenge from Drago’s son — another dangerous fighter. Under guidance from Rocky, Adonis trains for the showdown of his life — a date with destiny that soon becomes his obsession. Now, Johnson and Balboa must confront their shared legacy as the past comes back to haunt each man.
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (March 12, 2019)
At the end of the first film, the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald was captured by MACUSA, with the help of Newt Scamander. But, making good on his threat, Grindelwald escaped custody and has set about gathering followers, most unsuspecting of his true agenda: to raise pure-blood wizards up to rule over all non-magical beings. In an effort to thwart Grindelwald’s plans, Albus Dumbledore enlists his former student Newt Scamander, who agrees to help, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead. Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided wizarding world.

Despite their differences, the two men soon develop an unexpected bond while confronting racism and danger in an era of segregation.
Mary Poppins Returns (March 19, 2019)
Now an adult with three children, bank teller Michael Banks learns that his house will be repossessed in five days unless he can pay back a loan.
