Top 50 Villains of All Time

First up was my Top 50 Movies of All Time and now it’s time to get into a personal favorite, the villains. Who doesn’t love a good villain? Usually they have the better story, but unfortunately that does equal screen time. Just like the last post I started writing a list, but this time I struggled to get to 50. Officially, I managed to get to 43, but I had to dig deep to finish it out. I did it and here it is…

It’s nearly impossible to begin to rate them, so most of this list is up for grabs because I don’t think I could do it. Just like the last list, I don’t have any animated films on here because that will be a list of its own — I will save that for later. Just know again, that this is my list, my preference and my rules.

Do you agree? Disagree? Am I crazy? Who did I miss? Let me know in the comment section below.

Here’s the full list:

Joker (Heath Ledger), Darth Vader, Hannibal Lecture, Commodus, Jigsaw, Palpatine, Annie Wilkes, Agent Smith, Michael Myers, Alex Delarge, Xenomorph, Witch King of Angmar, Norman Bates, Anton Chigurh, Thanos, Pennywise, Jason, Jack Torrance, Travis Bickle, Predator, Patrick Bateman, Bane, Amy Dunne, Wicked Witch of the West, Magneto, Mr. Potter, Hector Barbosa, Two Face, T-1000, Amon Goeth, The Eye, Hans Landa, Loki, Darth Maul, Jaws (The Shark), Nurse Ratched, Killmonger, Regan (Exorcist), Voldemort, Hela, Hans Gruber, Kylo Ren, Bellatrix Lestrange, Draco Malfoy, Saruman, Freddy Kruger, Scarecrow, Ultron, Davy Jones, HAL 9000 & Balrog.

If you counted right, there’s 51… I decided to make Bellatrix Lestrange & Draco Malfoy one slot because one is needed with the other.

What’s number one if I had to pick?

If I had to pick one, point blank — What’s your favorite villain of all time? It’s the Joker.

That’s all I have for now. Stay safe.

Cheers,

Matt.
