My 4K UHD Collection is continuing to grow and with more movies on the horizon adapting to the format — it continues to be an amazing time for film. The month of May (2019) is shaping up to be on the lighter side of things in the UHD format, but here are the ones I’m looking forward to the most.
Please note that these are my personal favorites, there are still other 4K releases coming out in the month of May like remasters of Black Hawk Down, Godzilla, Forrest Gump & Field of Dreams — not to mention Illumination’s 6 Movie Collection on Blu-ray. More information (and potential reviews) will follow on those remasters, so stay tuned to see if they’re worth a pickup.
Lastly, there are also listings for Toy Story 1, 2 & 3 arriving on UHD and repackaged Blu-ray — but I’m still waiting for a rock solid confirmation on the 4K aspect. For now you can expect to see these in some capacity on May 26th — just in time for Toy Story 4.
