It’s time again for another ‘WITBUM’ aka What’s in The Based Update’s Mailbox! Who dosen’t like getting mail, especially when its clothing? Today we got a package from my good friends over at Popular Demand! This is one of my favorite brands out there right now so continue below to see what they hooked us up with below!
Packaging: The packaging from Popular Demand comes together with no faults like every review posted on this site previous to this one. Every item you purchase comes to you individually wrapped in poly bags keeping it all extra secure, and right out the printer fresh. The package also came to us via UPS, so this will get to your door quick, especially if you are in California or the Los Angleles area! No problems with shipping… it’s fast & professional!
Design: The designs from Popular Demand are as I always state: trendy, very loud, colorful and still demanding all of your attention! This time around the highlight for this line is their ’Start Fires’ collection which represents the idea that you can create something so compelling that it spread like a wildfire. The final design is flawless, taking something as simple as flames & smoke and making it cool is very difficult, but they definitely succeeded with the way it all POPS out of the clothes. In addition, the release also features the new ‘PD Blok camo’ and ‘Ostrich’ designs that you should check out HERE.
Quality: The quality from Popular Demand sits at 5/5 premium! All the gear fits well to the size you are and these clothes are solid material, nothing too lightweight that may stretch out. The printing of the new ‘fire & smoke’ colors and designs are flawless. They are so thick that they are almost a form of 3D printing and when you see and feel the ostrich & snakeskin prints, they look and feel real. I haven’t seen Spring 2 designs yet, but what I would like to see is a “FADE-FIRE” tee where the flames start at the bottom and finish near the top of the shirt with the trademark Popular Demand pocket logo!
What’s left?: Also included in the package was a one of a kind hat. Officially it’s the Ostrich Popular Script Strapback. The quality on this is ridiculous because you can feel the high quality texture! It’s the little things like this that make this brand stand out and I always look forward to what they have up their sleeves next!
Is it Approved? Yes of course! Go get yourself some brand new gear for the Spring/Summer season right now! As the brand advances I am liking what I see more and more and I look forward to what is to come next. What’s next for the brand? Spring 2 drop, summer release and then they are officially opening their first flagship store on Fairfax in Los Angeles! Stay tuned for more to come on that
