German sportswear brand adidas Originals has just released a trio of camo-patterned sneakers. Updated silhouettes come in the form of the Rising StarXR1, Boston SuperXR1 and MicropacerXR1, blending retro design cues with modern tech details. First up is the Rising StarXR1, inspired by ’80s design, which come with hits of tonal suede at the toe cap. Its distinctive camo print appears around the tongue and the heel, underscored by a black BOOST sole.
The Boston SuperXR1 sees more camo along the body, gracing the lace cage that extends all the way to the heel. A black tongue, grey heel tab and black BOOST sole unit round out the highlights of the sneaker. Lastly, the MicropacerXR1 is the more sporty silhouette among all three, where aside from the heel, the shoe’s signature tongue is covered in camo, stamped with subtle trefoil branding and an adidas logo. As a finishing detail, all three sneakers feature unique three stripes branding at the sidewalls, comprising of the colors red, metallic silver and blue.
The Boston SuperXR1 is priced at $140 USD; the Rising StarXR1, $150 USD; and the MicropacerXR1, $200 USD. All three sneakers can be found at the adidas online store.
