Review –
The Equalizer DVD Collection is clean-cut and simply packaged. You have the digital codes on the inside cover and then a couple of stacked discs on the opposite end. There is nothing else to add on this aspect. As a side note, I was only sent the DVD for this collection so I cannot comment on quality of the UHD, but I have no doubt that it passes the mark on all ends like the first two films did. These movies have always been fun to watch since the first film came out in 2014. I wouldn’t call them, ‘must-see’ movies, but this trilogy is action packed and entertaining enough to throw on any night you are looking for violence and action. I wouldn’t imagine that you haven’t seen the first movie if you find yourself reading this review, so I want to focus specifically on The Equalizer 3. The third and final movie marks a fitting and end to the franchise which still offers all the violence and familiar set-pieces of the previous films… it was 10 years in the making and they sent off the character’s goodbye’s in a great fashion. How do you say ‘goodbye’ to the boogeyman? You’ll see when you watch the last film.
No matter what you decide to do, you can grab a copy at your local retailer on 4K today. It will make a great addition to your collection and a great stocking stuffer for the holiday’s.
