September’s Most Anticipated 4K Releases

My 4K UHD Collection is getting bigger as time goes by because more films are adapting to the format. I usually say “it continues to be an amazing time for film,” but as time carries on things are beginning to change for the worst, especially the movie industry. We need more physical releases! I know it’s a dying market, but a guy can continue to hope.

Outside of that, here’s what you can set your eyes on this month when it comes to those re-releases and remasters… On top of what’s listed below you can also get A Nightmare on Elm Street Collection, Flow and more in 4K UHD.

Ballerina (September 9th, 2025)

Trained in the assassin traditions of the Ruska Roma, Eve Macarro takes on an army of killers as she seeks revenge against those responsible for the death of her father.

Jurassic World: Rebirth (September 9th, 2025)

Zora Bennett leads a team of skilled operatives to the most dangerous place on Earth, an island research facility for the original Jurassic Park. Their mission is to secure genetic material from dinosaurs whose DNA can provide life-saving benefits to mankind. As the top-secret expedition becomes more and more risky, they soon make a sinister, shocking discovery that’s been hidden from the world for decades.

Elio (September 9th, 2025)

Elio, an underdog with an active imagination, finds himself inadvertently beamed up to the Communiverse, an interplanetary organization with representatives from galaxies far and wide. Mistakenly identified as Earth’s ambassador to the rest of the universe, he starts to form new bonds with eccentric aliens while discovering who he’s truly meant to be.

Superman (September 23rd, 2025)

When Superman gets drawn into conflicts at home and abroad, his actions are questioned, giving tech billionaire Lex Luthor the opportunity to get the Man of Steel out of the way for good. Will intrepid reporter Lois Lane and Superman’s four-legged companion, Krypto, be able to help him before it’s too late?

28 Years Later (September 23rd, 2025)

It’s been almost three decades since the rage virus escaped from a biological weapons laboratory. Still living in a ruthlessly enforced quarantine, some have found ways to exist amid the infected. One such group of survivors lives on a small island connected to the mainland by a single, heavily defended causeway. When one of them decides to venture into the dark heart of the mainland, he soon discovers a mutation that has spread to not only the infected, but other survivors as well.
