My 4K UHD Collection is getting bigger as time goes by because more films are adapting to the format. I usually say “it continues to be an amazing time for film,” but as time carries on things are beginning to change for the worst, especially the movie industry. We need more physical releases! I know it’s a dying market, but a guy can continue to hope.
Outside of that, here’s what you can set your eyes on this month when it comes to those re-releases and remasters… On top of what’s listed below you can also get Rio Bravo, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, East of Eden, Enter the Dragon and more. Not bad… not bad.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (August 1st, 2023)
Still reeling from the loss of Gamora, Peter Quill must rally his team to defend the universe and protect one of their own. If the mission is not completely successful, it could possibly lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them.
Fast X (August 8th, 2023)

The Flash (August 29th, 2023)
Worlds collide when the Flash uses his superpowers to travel back in time to change the events of the past. However, when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, he becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation. With no other superheroes to turn to, the Flash looks to coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian — albeit not the one he’s looking for.
