QUICK REVIEW

I can’t speak on the 4K aspect on the film, but the Blu-ray release of Madame Web, visually speaking, the colors burst vibrantly on screen, with rich reds contrasting beautifully against deep black shadows. Details are rendered nicely, from the sharp edges to the finely textured surfaces, lending a realism that’s impressive (I’m sure the 4K disc looks amazing). Blu-ray only accentuates the significant enhancements, reaffirming the value of Dolby Vision, HDR10, and Native 4K technologies. Go get the 4K if you want to watch the film in the best possible way.

Madame Web may not claim the title of the absolute worst movie you’ve ever watched, or even the worst superhero flick. However, it’s poised to remain one of the least impressive modern entries in the genre. Sony has a great track record with 4K releases, so the probability of a visually stunning presentation and immersive Dolby Atmos audio is guaranteed if you choose to purchase this film. In conclusion, go with your gut. I was interested in this movie, so saw it in theaters and at home.
