It’s time again for another ‘WITBUM’ aka What’s in The Based Update’s Mailbox! Who dosen’t like getting mail, especially when its a brand new gadget? Today we got a package from my good friends over at Lifeproof! Have you always wanted your phone to go underwater or just simply be waterproof? Well now you can get it, it works and we will show you all the specs! Check it out below.
First thing is first, you really don’t want to just put the case on your phone and drop it in the water…. what if it doesn’t work!!?? Lifeproof has a solution for that! Inside like we mentioned above is the test case. Before you put your phone in the case you stick this test iPhone looking plastic piece in there and submerge it underwater for 30 minutes. When you take it out, open it up and see if there is water it in. If there isn’t any mositure then you are ready to go. Ours was ready to go, so we were ready! Second thing that came to mind is how would I use the headphones on my phone with a thicker case like this. Well Lifeproof has a solution for that as well. As listed above, included in your package is a Wheaterproof Headphone adapted which fits into your case and allows you to enjoy your music without any problems.
The cool thing about this case is that it is not gender specific nor age specific because everyone wants one for their own reason. Any pre-teen, teenager or young adult with this phone wants to jump in the pool with it to take pictures and videos to really spice up their social media game. Who doesn’t want to take underwater pictures with your phone? Further to point, my cousin learned how to swim without his floaties for the very first time and we were able to capture it all under water. His first time swimming was shared with the family from here across the United States for everyone to see on Facebook. Everyone was shocked and amazed that they were able to see underwater footage from an iPhone. Grandparents, aunts and uncles all want this case so they can capture moments like that which were not possible before. View some footage via Instagram HERE and HERE.
Shout out to the entire Lifeproof Staff!
