My 4K UHD Collection is continuing to grow and with more movies on the horizon adapting to the format — it continues to be an amazing time for film. We are just days away from Thanksgiving which means we’re rolling up on Black Friday & December (2019) and don’t worry, there’s another batch of new releases coming to the UHD format — here are the ones I’m looking forward to the most.
The last several months have spotlighted Disney 4K releases, both old and new, whether it was Live Action Remakes, the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Pixar or the Walt Disney Signature releases — this month we get nothing. Yes, that means zero… nada. It’s crazy that the mega-overlord’s themselves are taking a month of home video releases off. More importantly, where are the Walt Disney Signature releases for The Jungle Book & Fantasia? We’re waiting!
Outside of that, there are also a few releases to grab that arrive in the Blu-ray format. That includes Ready or Not, (December 3rd) The Goldfinch (December 3rd) & Judy (December 24th). Also, Rambo: Last Blood releases on the UHD format December 17th if you’re interested. Unfortunately, Joker looks like it will coming out on UHD January 7th, 2020. There was a rumor it was going to be scheduled December 17th, but it looks to have changed.
Did I miss any you are looking forward to? What will you be eyeing for Black Friday purchases? Let me know in the comments!
