As much as the other actors in this category deserve it, in my opinion Joaquin Phoenix is sitting head and shoulders above the competition. His role playing the Joker will go down as one for the ages and if you pay attention to what I’ve said about the movie, you know I can’t extend my praises enough. Just as Renee, we’ve got three speeches so far this award season (Globes, SG & SAG), get ready for one more.
